seeded concrete and pathsA path according to the Japanese is intended to be an experience as well as a means of enjoying the entire garden. It is designed for casual wondering and is longer than the shortest distance between two points – by going the long way round you get the impression that the garden is larger than it actually is. Our garden paths are inspired by this ideal. We have a tendency to create meandering stone paths or hand seeded concrete paths combining an array of different materials; stone, shell and pebbles combined in a rich tapestry, curved or wavy, but never in straight lines. Sometimes it can be amusing to have a path that doesn't particularly go anywhere.
