This garden was recently nominated as a finalist in the city of Subiaco Sustainable Garden Awards. See the city of Subiaco website. In terms of the garden’s sustainability it features subsurface irrigation as well as sections of subsurface grey water irrigation. It also features a number of species of native bird and butterfly attracting plants indigenous to the area as well as sculptural circular raised vegetable beds in both the front and rear gardens.

The key sculptural feature forms within the garden are the entrance structure made out of recycled jarrah railway timbers and south-west river stones which have been suspended using stainless steel wire and the front weathered steel letterbox which is made out of recycled mild steel obtained from a local salvage yard.
