fremantle minimalist garden

This garden was part of an 8 lot sustainable garden development which we completed the design and installation work for. It also represented our first foray into a whimsical array of vertical gardens filled with colourful succulents as well as the widespread usage of hand-seeded concrete for outdoor living areas exposed to the elements. The garden is characterised by the extensive use of local coastal native species, local sandstone and a combination of granite mulch of different sizes being used to merge plantings with pathways in combination with pine-bark mulch. All of the gardens were reticulated with sub-surface irrigation and each used wooden decking to soften the extensive use of stone.
